Apex Skimboards was founded in 2008 to make high standard boards with vivid colours, abstract and urban art.
The Apex Avac Skimboard is a pro-shape lightweight reinforced board made from woven E-glass fibres over a high-density foam core.
The Avac skims fast and is perfectly suited to wave riding. Each board size has a finely tuned rocker that provides excellent sand and water performance.
The board’s flexibility suits many different riding styles, making the Avac a good all-rounder for most rider skill levels.
All boards include nose, tail and rail reinforcement, and each size has an individual foam core thickness providing different performance qualities for each board.

- 36″ – For riders up to 100lbs, perfect for beginners to sand skimming
- 41″ – For riders between 40-120lbs, perfect for those who want to transition from the sand to wave riding
- 46″ – For riders between 60-160lbs, An all-round thickness for skimming and wave riding
- 51″ – For riders 120-210lbs, The same thickness as Apex pro-Skimboards
